Shopify Sales Running Flat? It’s Not Your Site, It’s You.

Shopify Sales Running Flat? It’s Not Your Site, It’s You.

Yeah, you read that right.

More often than not, the thing standing between you and all those sales you’ve envisioned flying in once you launched isn’t some sneaky algorithm or a glitch in your site—it’s you. But don’t freak out just yet. Let’s break it down.

Here’s the deal...your clients? They're smart af. They know they hold the power when it comes to where they’re dropping their hard-earned cash. And guess what? They’re not just buying from your brand because of the fancy name or logo. They're buying from you. Your energy, your vibe, the way you break things down and make it make sense, the space you’ve created for them—it’s all about you.

But here’s the kicker, they only know that because you’ve shown up for them. Consistently. Whether it’s online or in real life, you’ve made yourself known enough that they trust you. And that’s where the real magic happens.

And yep, this is another way of me telling you that you do, in fact, need to show up for your biz. If you’re not showing up, if you’re not having real conversations with your audience, then of course the sales aren’t flowing. People don’t want to be talked at, they want to connect with you. The more real you are, the more they see your value, and the more they’ll stick around until they’re ready to hit "buy."

Quick Tips to Get Out of Your Own Way

  • Share the good, the bad, and the messy. Your audience wants the real you, not a filtered version.
  • Ask your audience questions. Dig into what they’re struggling with, and watch how much more engaged they’ll be.
  • Show up like it's your job (because it is). Consistency is the name of the game. People buy from those they see and trust. So, keep showing up and let them get to know you.

If you’re ready to get out of your own way and start seeing the traffic and sales you deserve, it’s time to take action. Show up for your people, and they’ll show up for you.
